Jasveen Sangha, mostly known as the “Ketamine Queen” these days, is adamant that she is not guilty and has denied any connection to Matthew Perry, after facing charges related to the Friends alum’s death.
“She isn’t connected to Matthew Perry at all,” one of Sangha’s lawyers, Mark Geragos, said during a Today show appearance, in an interview that came out on Wednesday, September 4.
Geragos stood strong on his stance that his client never had any association with Perry, and that there is “no mystery” to the truth.
Perry passed away at the age of 54 in October 2023, and the cause of death was later revealed to be “the acute effects of ketamine.”
Sangha was accused of selling the substance to the actor through drug dealer Erik Fleming, and his assistant Kenneth Iwamasa was also allegedly involved in the act of obtaining the drugs that killed the Friends star.
“People like to make her out into something she isn’t, but there’s a whole different side here,” Geragos said referring to Sangha, stating that his client’s story “will be told in a trial.”
